Nylon line ends up in your garden as (micro)plastic waste, which takes about 500 years to degrade while slowly releasing toxic substances! EcoBlade is fully biodegradable and decomposes naturally into harmless substances like water, carbon dioxide, and biomass. This process takes anywhere from a few weeks to approximately two years, depending on the size of the residual pieces.

Thanks to its unique composition, which includes nettle, its cutting performance rivals that of standard nylon mowing line! The line is somewhat more flexible than nylon, making it easier to wind onto the spool head. However, wear and tear is slightly higher than with nylon mowing line. Specifications

The line is suitable for all grass trimmers that use 1.6 mm line, such as Black & Decker, Makita, and Stihl. Due to friction, the line can break at the spool outlet after prolonged mowing. This can be prevented by occasionally lubricating the metal eyelets with a little oil (e.g., olive oil or another environmentally friendly alternative).
